Jennifer Everton, DO
Internal Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Everton is a specialist in Internal Medicine and a Doctor of Osteopathy. This means that she is not only board certified in internal medicine, but she is also licensed in the non-invasive specialty of osteopathic medicine.
“I chose osteopathic medicine training because it gives me additional options when treating the musculoskeletal problems that we see so often in primary care,” Dr. Everton says. “Many of my patients appreciate the hands-on approach that this type of practice can offer them.”
Comprehensive Health Care
Dr. Everton provides comprehensive primary health care services for patients aged 18 to 88 and beyond. She sees patients in outpatient and end-of-life settings. She performs routine physical exams, diagnoses and treats illnesses and chronic conditions, and manages medical care for her patients with an emphasis on the whole person.
Dr. Everton is a graduate of the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She joined Associated Physicians in 2009 and lives in Verona with her husband.
Long-Term Relationships
“At Associated Physicians, we have long-term, and sometimes lifetime relationships with patients through the good times and the bad, and that’s very important to me,” Dr. Everton says. “It’s a very traditional and optimal medical partnership.”
