Dr. Zoë Rammelkamp

MD, Internal Medicine

Accepting New Patients

Dr. Zoë Rammelkamp grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and attended Johns Hopkins University for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in neuroscience and minored in English literature. After graduating from college, she spent a year working as a laboratory technician at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, aiding in the research of traumatic brain injury. She then moved back to Baltimore for medical school, where she attended the University of Maryland. Looking for a change from the east coast, she moved to Minneapolis for her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota.

Once she completed her residency, Dr. Rammelkamp decided to pursue a career in primary care. She moved to Madison in June 2021 and started working at Associated Physicians in August 2021. One of the main reasons she chose to enter into a career in primary care is because she cares about preventative medicine and developing relationships with patients over time.

Besides medicine, Dr. Rammelkamp’s other chief interest is environmental sustainability. She is a member of Healthy Climate Wisconsin and she is the leader of the Green Team at Associated Physicians. These groups aim to reduce carbon emissions and waste in healthcare and beyond. Dr. Rammelkamp passionately believes that having a healthy planet is essential to people living healthy lives.
